A Few Golden Tips:

1. Size down - Just as sweet potatoes do, our sweet potatoes will vary in size. Feel free to break our chews into smaller pieces to get more mileage out of your bag!
2. Feed under supervision - as with most treats, especially those on the larger side, we recommend feeding under supervision to make sure your pup has a safe experience. If your pup tends to scarf treats down like it’s their last meal, try feeding smaller pieces to prevent the treat from becoming a choking hazard.
3. Stay in your comfort zone:

• These are minimally processed dog treats. Don’t feed your dog anything that isn’t within your comfort zone. While rare, pay attention for any sharp edges before feeding.
• These treats are 100% natural with no preservatives. As such, we recommend using clean hands to feed treats, keeping the bag sealed when not in use, and feeding the entire bag within 60 days after opening. Store in a cool, dry environment.

• Our Sweet Potato Chews are made from human-grade misfits. These treats are made with the same quality of potato you’ll find at your local grocery store but are of a shape and size that doesn’t appeal to grocers. Davie doesn’t seem to mind the shape and it helps to reduce food waste!
• Are these made from non-GMO sweet potatoes?
• Yes, these sweet potatoes are non-GMO.
• How are these prepared? I heard raw sweet potatoes aren’t good for dogs?
• These are minimally processed but are not raw sweet potatoes. Our sweet potato chews are blanched and then dehydrated. The blanching process helps to increase the digestibility of our chews.
• These are just too big for my dog…what do I do?
• If you’ve already tried breaking these into smaller pieces and it’s still not working out, we recommend giving our sweet potato bites a try. They’re perfect for smaller dogs and make great training treats!
• Are these supposed to be chewy or crunchy?
• As an all-natural, single ingredient product, treats can vary in both size and texture. Depending on the starting moisture content and size of the raw potatoes, treat texture can vary from slightly chewy to slightly crunchy.
